French star Kylian Mbappe, who plays for Paris Saint-Germain, has signed his transfer contracts to Real Madrid, according to a report published by a Spanish newspaper.
According to what was reported by the Spanish newspaper "Marca", Mbappe has signed a contract with Real Madrid until the summer of 2029, with a salary ranging between 15 and 20 million euros annually. Club president Florentino Perez refused to modify the salary structure to accommodate Mbappe.
According to the newspaper, the amount of the signing bonus is not yet known, but it is expected to reach approximately 50 million euros over five years.
The negotiations were mediated by Jose Angel Sanchez, Real Madrid's CEO, who contacted Mbappe's representatives at the beginning of last January to explore his desire to join the team.
For its part, the Spanish network "Relevo" confirmed that the official signing has not yet taken place, but there is a verbal agreement between the two parties, with some details that must be resolved, including the conditions for his departure from Paris Saint-Germain and arranging photo rights before the final signing.
Sources revealed that Mbappe refused to wear the No. 9 shirt, and expressed his desire to wear the No. 10 shirt, which Luka Modric currently wears at Real Madrid.
