Doubts are growing about the fate of Croatian star Luka Modric within the ranks of Real Madrid, with his contract expiring next June, and his final fate at the Royal Club has not yet been announced.
In light of the reports received, Florian Plettenberg, a journalist for Sky Germany, pointed out the latest developments regarding Modric’s future at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
Plettenberg confirmed, based on his sources, that Modric will not renew his current contract, which expires at the end of the current season, but indicated that the final decision has not been made 100%, indicating that there are different scenarios.
Modric, 38 years old, is considered one of the legends in the ranks of Real Madrid, as he joined him from Tottenham Hotspur in 2012, and he performed outstandingly during his time at the club.
